Nils Einár Foundation

The Nils Einar Foundation will be there for every single youngster, our goal is to reach out to them, at any cost. Not one youngster should be condemned to walk alone without someone by their side. We will stand up for you who have been left behind, we will talk to you whose cries are left unheard, and we promise that, in the spirit of Nils, we’ll work for the
light to overcome the darkness. Every young one who is in need of a community, shall be offered one. A community where each individual receives the help they need, to get back on a good path.

Anna Nilsson

“… Einár’s music has been referred to as gangsterrap, a term that Einár himself doesn’t approve of.”

“Other artists solely focus on singing about love, but I want to address issues. People are peacefully having a coffee break here, but on our way to this cafe we walked past a drug addict, who possibly hasn’t slept for the whole night, looking for drugs.“

“That man isn’t a devil, he’s a human being, whose life has gone in the wrong direction. People might say that I’m on a bad path, but that doesn’t make me a gangster, I am 16 years old, how could I possibly be a gangster? It’s much more helpful to see me as a kid that hasn’t found his way. A young person in this situation is in need of help, not labels”

When Nils passed away, an image grew in my mind, seemingly out of

nowhere.

Seemingly he just kept on growing and growing, and as the image

became clearer, there was a distinct light coming out from him.

I encountered Nils, for the first time, at the Royal Dramatic Theatre.

He was a child actor.

It was a powerful experience, a strong feeling, encountering this young artist.

He took his first few steps onto the stage, and the steps became more and more

numerous.

Until, suddenly, a cessation. The remaining scenes, everything, disappeared.

But the image. Of the young, beautiful, intensive Nils remains.

And that image will never cease to exist.
